Over and over, this was the spot where an ordinary swell would rise, and would start to curl, to turn into a breaker which surfers would try and 'catch' to ride, to slide down the glass like a smooth surface. You can see how close to the rocks it is. My understanding is that only the most experienced surfers come here. The setting is certainly dramatic, with sea-cliffs which I've read are among the highest in the world.
