It was rather a cold day although there was no frost in the air. This picture was taken from Ytri Njaršvķk towards Keflavķk. But both those villages have now merged into one village Reykjaneskaupstaš. The buildings in the background are a part of the old US naval station that was at Keflavik airport.

As can be seen then there was some wind that day and there was a lot of ice on the ground so you had to be carful when walking if you didn“t want to slip and fall down.
