These images are from just about one year ago (not getting out much lately due to weather); but I had never processed them.
I was looking through some old files and can't believe that I missed posting these. It showcases the incredible manouervability of the Blue Jay.

In the top image, the Blue Jay spots a peanut in a log; slams on the brakes; and is in the process of re-orienting his body to "score" the nut.



In the bottom image: Mission Accomplished!! It is focused on the peanut.
