Blue Jay Cyanocitta cristata, is the
“Provincial bird” of the Canadian Province of Prince Edward
Island. As such the symbol is featured between two arches in
Confederation Hall. Other symbols of the province are; Flower:
Lady’s Slipper, Cypripedium acuale, Tree: Red Oak, Quercus rubra.
