A burnt and abandoned car on the GCR, between Warakurna, W.A. and Warburton, W.A.
The Aboriginals regularly abandon their damaged cars along this road, although some are abandoned by ill-prepared white people as well.
In the 1990's, there were over 1300 car wrecks along the GCR - just between Laverton, W.A. and Warburton, W.A. alone, a distance of just 563kms!
The authorities moved in with a portable car-crusher about 10 yrs ago and crushed them all and took them to Perth to be scrapped. DATE: October 2014.
