Cove bay is one of my favourite Moray coast haunts. It features a very pretty sandy beach complete with a rock arch and is bounded by eroded sandstone cliffs and caves. It is such a diverse beach that it really isn't too difficult to find something of interest within the cove. This beautifully sculpted ochre sandstone bedrock is a perfect example. Someone had kindly built a wee tower of stones on a shelf and since it was there I opted to include it in my composition as a focal point.
