With the rut nearing an end, male deer are becoming more tolerant of one another. These two were hanging around together. I saw and photographed a third one as well, the 10-pointer with the torn up fur.
Photographed with the Canon 7D MK2 in Manual Exposure. Canon 70-200 2.8L + 1.4x. ISO 3200, f/5.6, 1/400 in Ai-servo. Monopod supported.
