Gananoque (an easy way
to remember its pronounciation [according to Wikipedia]
is; “The right way, the wrong way, and the Gananoque”),
sits on the northern bank of Saint Lawrence River and is
nicknamed “Gateway to the Thousand Islands” and “Gan”.
The “Gananoque Pump House”, which was built between
1903 & 1905, is an example of local industrial architecture.
