1st place: St Paul's from the Bridge - Yaelle

The bridge was thronging with people. The long exposure made most of them disappear.

excellent, this pic is the definition of a leading line,,,,down the chute, up the building and exploding clouds

Very good Yaelle. Tripod and 60 sec exposure + wide - you are giving me some ideas...

The movement of the clouds is most striking, giving the image a sense of motion and direction. I'm somewhat amazed that the footsteps of so many passersby didn't setup a vibration in the tripod that would have spoiled the shot.

Ewwww, I loved the other shot last challenge, didn't know it could get any better than that, but I'm pretty blown away by this one. Gorgeous!

Thanks for the kind comments. I nearly got trampled to death doing this, the bridge was so busy. Several times I thought people were going to walk into the tripod. Most people do this shot with a telephoto of some sort from the start of the bride on the south side, focussing on St Paul's. I walked halfway across the bridge to take the shot wide. Yaelle

Wow you have captured this really well. The sky is hypnotic and the rest of the image so appealing.
