It was surprisingly difficult to tell the difference
between the Snowy and the pursuing gulls at a distance.

Thanks very much Janice, and Elaine. The owl took care of itself just fine - the crows were more of a problem to it than the gulls, but it coped with quite a bit of patience.

Terry, Great shot. You certainly caught the action, I feel sorry for the poor owl who is outnumbered.

I was so surprised opening up this image to see the owl there. I hope it got away from the seagulls. Great shot

What a fantastic and rare photograph Terry. Looks like a gull escort but apparently they resent it in their territory. A remarkable image.
