I love it when we get snow on a Saturday morning!
We get so little snow and mostly it happens at a bad time,
so it is nice to get some when going out is optional.
We sit by the stove looking out at
our personal winter wonderland.
Watching the birds attack the apples
that are left on the trees just for that purpose.
The hummers sit by their feeders and
chase each other to claim the nectar.
It is nice to retreat to our small paradise
with nowhere to be and
nothing pressing to
be done.
