Aphalt Paving

Gold Beach, Oregon

I'm on a bit of a construction kick here, so bear with me.
Paving in front of my property on Hwy 101 on the Southern Oregon
Coast several summers ago. This was my profession(Road Construction)
for over 35 years, so needless to say I was all over them on this
project, LOL. I can't get enough of the smell of hot asphalt!!

I've also found these paving machines to be incredible! I mean, just look at how much asphalt it is laying all by itself. I wonder if it's a hard machine to handle, and if they use this machine when laying asphalt on driveways. My wife and I are trying to get our driveway resurfaced with asphalt and I would love to know if this is how they'd do it. http://www.lakeridgepaving.com/seattle

I've always wondered how asphalt paving worked. I didn't know that they used a big machine like this. I wonder how hot the asphalt gets.

I feel like they have been doing road construction in front of or around my house for the past year. We even moved, and they started doing construction as soon as we moved in. It does make for a very nice road to drive on when it's done. I always try to look on the positive side if things.http://bitroads.com/maintenance/
