the Molson factory,
located beside the Saint Lawrence River in “Old Montreal”,
has been making beer (at the site of the original brewery)
since 1786, making it the oldest brewery in North America.

The bridge behind the Molson brewery was originally known
as the Montreal Harbour Bridge. It was renamed Jacques
Cartier Bridge in 1934 to commemorate the 400th anniversary
of Jacques Cartier’s first voyage into the St. Lawrence River.
