Meteor Crater from 26,000 feet

Northeast Arizona view map

From a business trip that had me flying up to Las Vegas on my way back from Houston.

Below, just east of Meteor Crater are the McCauley Sinks, unusual natural formations of huge sink holes
near Rock Creek, again as seen from about 26,000 feet. More info on these natural sink holes at:

remarkable features...seems limestone is the reason then, as is the case with the many large sinkholes on the Yucatan Peninsula...here they are so concentrated though...superb aerial photography Sam..
