A group of 6 meadowlarks may have been a mixed flock of both Western and Eastern (Lillian's) Meadowlarks. At least two gave high-pitched "rink" flight calls typical of Lillian's (which is rare in Glendale) and one gave the Western song. Some, like the one in this photo, seemed to show some yellow in the malar area, and at least one lacked yellow in the malar, and another had extensive white in the tail (latter 2 features are Lillian's).
