Músser (Lles de Cerdanya)

Inhabited since the Neolithic the village of Músser is documented from the tenth century (called "Muncii"). The streets of the old town and the main square are of great interest because is a fully preserved medieval structure. There are old houses with stone arches, wooden balconies, arched doorways ... A set of great charm has been preserved by its relative isolation. Curiously saying that until well into the twentieth century was the only municipality where Cerdan was grown grapes.
According to tradition, Músser had a castle, which they say had built the Muslim leader Musa II, and the town grew to its shelter. It is said that this leader had a beautiful daughter named Oria Ben Musa, having died very young, he was buried in a place called meadow Ambell.
