Canvasback - pure or hybrid?

This digiscoped image shows a female or juvenile Aythya duck (at right) with head and plumage of a Canvasback, but the body size and shape of Redhead. I suspect this may be a first generation hybrid Canvasback x Redhead. It was with a flock of 35 Redhead at Portner Reservoir in Fossil Creek Park, in southeast Fort Collins. The other two ducks at left are adult male and female Redhead.
