It took approx. 3 hours to travel the 25 miles to the trailhead from US 93.
This view is of the last few miles along a very rocky and rough road. The road ends a few miles ahead at the trailhead and I was pleased to discover a campsite (picnic table and fire ring) next to the trailhead.
I thought I had the whole place to myself and then just as it was getting dark, two local families with dogs and kids pulled in. Next time I will come here in the middle of the week.
