Ikizkuyu Mosaic. 5th Century AD. From a three-naved basilical church at an ancient settlement near Ikizkuyu Village in the Nurdağı sub-province of Gaziantep. It was excavated in 2010 and brought to the museum. Domestic and wild animals are shown in nature, some have a border surrounding them, others are surrounded by colour. The background colour is crème. Sizes vary to better fill the areas. Geometrical motifs are used between the pillars supporting a roof.
