The saddlebacked mountain ahead is called Craig-yr-Aderyn (Birds' Rock),on left 258m, on right 233m.

Looks like the weather had it in for you that afternoon Ian. I like these ruins, not been for a couple of years but a great spot when the rain stops .
It was while once at this castle that my wife made the comment, "I don't know why they built it here, all you would have to do is just walk around it and go on your way" a point I found difficult to argue:-)
