Florence Fountain Of Neptune

The Fountain of Neptune is a fountain in Florence, Italy, situated on the Piazza della Signoria (Signoria square), in front of the Palazzo Vecchio. The fountain was commissioned in 1565 and is the work of the sculptor Bartolomeo Ammannati.

My favorite piazza in Florence and very unusual vantage point to shoot! Suppose you had a private, secret spot to get this great image ;-) ;-). This view surely does justice to beautiful piazza Signoria! You’ve even captured the great Loggia and the Fountain of Neptun illuminated in blue – all in same shot. LOVE the light and the color.
