Polypore fungus, possibly Fomitopsis rosea

There were two small polypores (bracket fungi)on a log in the forest. I have not seen such a pink polypore before and have no idea what species it is. However, there is a polypore called Fomitopsis rosea which has a pinkish flesh, according to Michael Kuo's website, the Mushroom Expert.
