Lake McDonald is a natural lake and the largest lake in Glacier National Park.
The lake is filled mostly by snow melt and is crystal clear located at an elevation 3,153 feet it is ten miles long and one mile wide with a depth of 473 feet.
With a beautiful steep mountain background this lake has been photographed literally millions of times and the picture constantly changes as the weather light and seasons evolve.
Here is my photo contribution.
