FLUORITE and CALCITE - under KW 254 nm UV-light.
Fluorite crystals on a marix of calcite from Sando Quarry, Sande, Vestfold, Norway.
Overall specimen size approx. 6 x 5 x 4 cm. Largest fluorite 10 mm in dia.
The fluorite crystals do not react to UV-light, but the calcite have a beautiful red color.
