This is the name of this little border bearded iris that has just started blooming
this spring. Not the first to flower but a very close second to a deep violet un-named
iris given to us by friends many years ago. We have bearded iris bordering both sides of the pathway in the top part
of the rose garden, some tall, but mostly the low to medium height bloomers. They usually flower just before the roses begin.
