Today's cycle to work marks a nominal* 2,006 miles of pedalling since I last went to work in the car on the 12th of June.

So I think that deserves a beer :o)

And maybe a whisky to chase it down later :oD

* 59 trips at 34 miles per trip - sometimes more, sometimes less - it all depends....

nb. In the car it would be nearer 40 miles per trip. The money I would have spent on petrol more than pays for my heating oil for the coming winter.
