The beaches are being patrolled again, which is a sure sign that the season is changing. And yet there is still the remnants of choppy, blustery weather from winter, resulting in the untidiness of the sea state, and the rough breaking of the waves as we see here.

This one was a touch contrasty; I've lost most of the detail in the headland and it's turned almost into a silhouette. Shooting into the sun is never a good idea of course (especially into the Australian sun) but that was where the subject (the breaking waves between the flags) was, so that's the way I had to go.
