The Angel is a large iron expressionist sculpture on a pedestal, adjacent to the Teruel Viaduct. It has three figures, the angel, the bull and the peņista, which are traditional symbols of Teruel from the 12th century. The Viaduct, built in 1929, is an urban infrastructure greatly appreciated by the citizens of Teruel and visitors, because of the major urban reform that it instilled, improving access to the city from the old road to Valencia
