Progress has been made. The new DVI-HDMI cables enabled me to connect the two new monitors.
I managed to load MS Office without trouble. The wireless printer put up more of a fight, but I managed to overpower it in the end.
Windows 8 fought back, and randomly hid control panels from me in the new operating system.
Tomorrow, I will tackle the loading of Photoshop, install the new wireless keyboard, load my old files.
Then I might be able to do some work.
