Iemanjá; arriving at Ribeirão da Ilha, there is this statue of Iemanjá, the sea queen (Olympus 21/3.5).

The Candomblé/Umbanda is a religion with African origin. With the portuguese colonization, slaves had - and many people still have - faith on this religion which is a mixture between catholicism and african religions.
