Djoke and Rich were married at the Pink Heart on the Esplanade on Friday, August 29, 2014 during a ceremony scheduled for 5:30 pm and officiated by a woman permitted by the State of Nevada whose only transportation, a bike (a la Burning Man mode), broke down on the way and caused some delay. The couple were among those who traveled to Burning Man on the Green Tortoise and attended by many from the GT camp. They were dressed for the wedding from the moment that they boarded the GT bus on Tuesday, until after the Wedding on Friday afternoon. "We loved the imperfections that happened," says Djoke who had been to Burning Man several times and Rich who was there for the first time. This wedding is the highlight of their fifth year of dancing together.
