Teannaki first showed me this bonefish fly, the “Teannaki Special” [sic], in July 2006.

I used it most days during my two week stay at Kiritimati last month. The larger sizes
(size 1 and 2) with heavy eyes worked well at Paris flat after the full moon and the
smaller sizes with bead chain eyes caught lots of fish in the skinny water.

Materials:
Hook. Mustad S71SSS size 8
Eyes. gold bead chain, size small
Thread. flat waxed nylon, 210 denier, salmon
Tail. Targus Cealfurr™ ﴾Cream 9050﴿
Wing. Targus Cealfurr™ ﴾Dark Sand 4250﴿
Notes on materials;
Hook; The Mustad S71SSS has been replaced by S71SNP-DT/S71SZ.
You could also try tying them on a Gamakatsu SL45 size 4, 6, 8, 10.
