Mosaics, stained glass, ceramics and wood
Modernist architects at the time always had a team of master artists and craftsmen to help them carry out their work. They became "orchestra conductors" who directed more than forty people specialized in the arts of mosaics, wood, stained glass, ceramics, wrought iron... Lluís Domčnech i Montaner was not an exception and, together with decorator Gaspar Homar, comanded a large team of artists and craftsmen who took part in the remodelling of the Lleó i Morera House. Modernism would not have been possible without all these teams of master artists.
