I like this. The HDR is interesting but not key to the shot. What is is the fact that you seem to have mastered the primary need of portrait photography which is to get the subject(s) to be relating to you rather than the camera, which all of these seem to be. I particularly like the pose of the woman on the port nose of the bird; the glance almost over the shoulder is so casual and natural. It's almost as if she and the woman next to her have just broken from a conversation to look over at you. The standout expression in the group is the guy below them though; he's aware of you, you have his attention and yet some part of him seems to be thinking of other things. They all look good in this, though; the image has a very good feel to it.
