Saadani River Lodge - all the rooms are river front. From the balcony, we saw Grey Heron, Great Egret, cormorants, Yellow-billed Storks and Woolly-necked Storks flew by. We also saw Pied Kingfisher hovering (fishing) above the water. In low tide, we saw several Hamerkops walking on the sand bar. At night, we could hear the Hippo's heavy breathing near by. And we saw 3 different kinds of monkeys just around our room - Colobus Monkey, Blue Monkey, and Yellow Baboon.
