The words of the English reformer John Wycliffe “I believe that in the end the truth will conquer” is echoed by Czech reformer Jan Hus into the immortal "Truth prevails" or “Pravda vítězí”.
After WW1, it became the motto of the newly independent Czechoslovakia shown here in its coat of arms.
