Seeing this plant all over the place in the meadows I walked through along the Lookout Mountain Trail, I was reminded of a hike I took up this trail with my 20 year old daughter, Stephanie, in 1998, when she collected a big bouquet of these. I don't remember what the attraction was, so I picked a fresh top and it had a very pleasant, sweet smell. That had something to do with her attraction. I seem to remember she knew what this plant was.
