An imperfect but amazing cone about 8" long. Five minutes earlier I came across an absolutely flawless, magnificent one. I picked it up and set it aside against a downed tree trunk, with the intention of picking it up and taking it home with me on the way back. Stupidly, I didn't take a picture of it, and couldn't find it on the way back! Somebody else must have grabbed the masterpiece.
