Thank you Hal. Actually, the tree has grown up out of the rock, and the cement and concrete surround is protective. I believe it was added 20 years ago. Thank you very much, all, for your encouragement.

Wonderful scene and wonderfully balanced photograph, Michael. l note that the tree is in some sort of large round stone container. l wonder if perhaps it was planted on the rocky point. lts roots would be above the rock formation. lf so, certainly by some one with a very artistic eye.
