A Happy Remembrance

Thank you all so much for your kind words about Fenway. My husband and I are still so sad about his sudden passing. Our hearts hurt. Poor Della doesn’t know who she should lick the tears away from first.

It has been so wonderful to have pbase to give a voice to my dogs. I have tried to impart a bit of who they are in this gallery. I am glad I have all the photos here to look back on and also glad for your comments because they show me you all got the know Fenway too.

So here is one last photo of my boy with his favorite guy and his best girl. This photo was taken last weekend when we all climbed to the top of Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires in western Massachusetts. It was a great day.

Fenway touched all of our hearts with his handsomness and playfulness. I wonder if he knew the titles you gave the photos you posted gave the audience such a close connection to him. I miss him. Warm wishes to you three.

What a great image and memory! Once again, so sorry for your loss. When my family lost our 16 year old husky boy, we all were broken! But the memories, they stay forever.

You will always have wonderful memories of happy times. These memories will outlive the tears and give you good feelings. We had the same feelings about little Rosie, our toy poodle. She died beside me in my recliner, where she liked to be. I was going through serious problems with my eye at the time, choroidal melanoma, and had to deal with a disk implanted for a week to provide radiation treatment. It made the loss of Rosie harder to take. But my wife and I made it through the tough times, and those wonderful memories are still vivid. My best to you both!
