Five dark birds seen from the Plum Hills parking pulloff about 8am. Lunar low tide (much lower than usual at -1.8ft)makes Bay essentially a huge mud flat and birds are far off. This photo and rest of series are taken with a 400mm zoom lens and then enlarged. see description at Gallery level.

Cannot distinguish what these were at this point except that they don't appear to be large shorebirds as I'd initially hoped. Thinking sub-adult Laughing Gulls at this point.
