This extreme wide angle shot is just after leaving the junction of the Newton Creek Trail and the Timberline Trail, on my way to Newton/Clark Ridge (my name for the ridge). The "mountain" in the background is just the ridge neighboring the Newton/Clark Ridge and containing Gnarl Ridge, my original destination.
