Howe Sound

near Squamish

at the top of the gondola ride sits Summit Lodge, with a restaurant, bar, and gift shop...more importantly there is a huge deck that serves as a vantage point...the view is of Howe Sound, the southernmost fjord in Canada...the waters here flow inland from the Salish Sea, in turn a coastal region of the Pacific Ocean...from Summit Lodge a network of trails leads to lots of mountain scenery
