The headgears of Bigoudènes rose after the first world war and can reach 32 centimeters hight. Only some old women wear it still in everyday life. However the Breton young women are proud to wear during the festivals, the suits and the headgears which often belonged to their grandmothers.

Les coiffes des Bigoudènes ont pris de la hauteur après la première guerre mondiale et peuvent atteindre 32 centimètres. Seules quelques femmes âgées la portent encore au quotidien. Cependant les jeunes bretonnes sont fières de porter lors des fêtes, costumes et coiffes qui ont souvent appartenu à leurs grand-mères.
