Striped maple keys (Acer pensylvanicum)

I think this is the prettiest of all our native maples, with its lovely pale gray striped bark, beautiful leaves and key clusters as here.

So nice to see these with seeds. They dont seem to produce seed very often in my experience. I agree they are a very attractive species of maple.
