Like flat, spiky crocodiles, these nocturnal lizards patrol the open rock faces in the Sydney region looking for invertebrates. They have been fortunate enough to take advantage of brick walls and live in many suburban houses but with cats and limited avenues
for dispersal their long-term survival in such habitats is far from secure.
