The military version of the Douglas DC-3. In Canada, we called it the "Dakota".
They were working on Number One engine when i visited in 2009. As you can see, they got it running.

From the Normandy invasion to Cherbourg, to Arnhem, to Bastogne, to the Berlin Airlift and much more, this aircraft was there -- over 65 years ago". Visitors can actually take rides in this restored aircraft.
