From out of his hidey-hole comes the spider...

I was at the Dallas Arboretum but did not have my glasses on.
I stood at the low growing hedges marveling at the droplets of water on all the spider webs when a gal said to me that she was amazed to see so many spiders.
HUH? What spiders?
When I looked closer, there were tiny spiders emerging from the dark center hole in each web.
This was the best shot I got hand held.

Isabel... I had no idea there was such a thing as a "funnel" spider, even though I shot it! So I looked further and this is what I found:

Stupendous! I've never gotten such a detailed view of a "funnel" spider!

Love this photo! It is quite spectacular with the colours overlaid by the droplet infused web, and right at the centre, this beautiful little spider. VV
