Mardi Gras Cutting

642 Spruce St - Norco, LA

The plant in this photo was a broken off branch less than a month ago, with leaves and an inflo. I removed all but two leaves, left the inflo on it and planted it as a cutting. I also left it in full, direct sunlight and didn't protect it from rain showers. The end result may still be failure, but it looks to me as though this plant is in growth mode. The blooms are smaller than normal and have not developed the deep colors normally associated with Mardi Gras, but I suppose that would be normal under the circumstances.
