The Ligerz vintner village lies on the left-hand shores of Lake Biel, on the German/ French language border between Twann and La Neuveville. Hallmark of this attractive winemaking region is the Ligerz church, which stands in a privileged spot amidst the vineyards overlooking the village.Earlier this often visited and most important church in the region was a destination for pilgrims, whereas today it’s a favourite for weddings due to its romantic location. The church has sufficient room for 230 people and is home to an organ, piano and modern sound system.
